St. Dalfour Whitening Cream Review

Heard of this "wonder cream" St. Dalfour? It usually comes with St. Dalfour soap when you buy it from online sellers
and priced from P1,500 to P2,000 per jar. This post is not an actual review, but a compilation of reviews (negative and positive) from some Multiply blogs. I've seen St. Dalfour cream being sold like chocolate chip hotcakes by Multiply sellers and I've read some feedbacks about it.

St. Dalfour Cream claims to whiten, moisturize and even out skin tone. I can't find any official product facts about this cream but sellers say that St. Dalfour cream is imported from Kuwait. I visited stdalfourcream.net but I can't find any facts about the ingredients of the said cream.

I created this post because I stumbled upon some user's review regarding St. Dalfour cream. Some say that this is really effective, clears up their acne, whiten the skin and even filled up their wrinkles. In short, the cream worked for them.

But some users have experienced negative effects. Instead of clearing up their bumps, it worsened. RAshes appeared and some say their skin stung. I've seen their pictures and I can say that it really is the worst skin reaction I've seen.

Sellers admit that they cannot tell if a St. Dalfour Cream is a fake or authentic. But they assured me that once you used the real one, it can really make your skin beautiful. But how can we tell if it is the original St. Dalfour Cream and not a fake? Will we risk our skin and wait if there's an adverse effect or a positive result? I hope somebody will clear this issue for my readers. A lot of people are asking me about St. Dalfour Cream but I do not know what to tell them.

Any of you has experienced using St. Dalfour Cream? Please leave a comment below in order for us to know more about this "wonder" St. Dalfour Cream. Thank you so much!

My boyfriend used St. Dalfour Cream before.. and indeed, for a period of time.. it was magic! as in he was FLAWLESS.. haha! After knowing that he is using that cream, I tried to research about St. Dalfour and was shocked about what I've found out.

St. Dalfour is a brand known at France for jams.. yes.. a JAM.. as in strawberry jams, pineapple jams.. etc.. meaning the jars used for "St. Dalfour Cream" were just recycled and repacked at Kuwait.

Another issue on this product is its ingredients.. it is totally UNKNOWN.. I'm afraid to try it because it might contain mercury or steroids.. yikes! and its texture and color varies.. LOL.

True, that when you try it.. your face will bloom.. it will definitely even out your skin tone.. but in the long run or after you stop using the product since you're already contented with the results, that is when major break-outs will appear.. Your skin will be more sensitive and it will be dependent on the cream.. trust me.. I've read a lot of reviews from this product..

Since we are both nurses, and we know what might happened if it really has mercury or steriod, My boyfriend stopped using the cream as soon as he heard about what I've found out. He just used that cream for a month.. Luckily, no major break-outs happened, but he's skin is not that lighter.. haha!

for men- I suggest that they use Nivea Whitening Moisturizer for Men.. ^_^
for women- try using Olay Natural White

*Pardon my english.. I'm not good in it*

hi joanna, your comment is such a big help. thanks!

i totally agree with Joanna about using Nivea for Men. My boyfriend works in a call center and lack of sleep really made him look so haggard even after a long sleep. and made his skin dry too. when he trird to use Nivea 5-1 Moisturizing cream for Men, his face really glowed and he no longer experience any zits, minus the haggard look also...:) just to share: he first wash his face with Nivea facial wash for men, apply master eskinol (the white one or see-through) and then apply the Nivea moisturizing cream afterwards...

try it, its really a reliable product.

Olay has always been a good product for the face, even the soap :) i trust nothing but Olay or Ponds :) (for the women)

i just used st. dalfour cream weeks ago and i have this crazy negative allergic reactions.. my face turned plum red and looks like its about to burst, this is the worst allergic reaction ive ever experienced.. i used this cream because my friend got a great positive effect on her face.. her acne marks were gone.. i bought the cream with her same supplier, which is a dalfour user also.. i went to a dermatologist to have this anti inflammatory shot..

for those who wants to use the product, i think it would be better to have a skin test first or go to your dermatologist for consultation.. ive learned my lesson.. my first time of venturing whitening cream but too bad to me that i didn't get the positive effect.. lol

ive always been a user of olay products, and yes, i do agree.. this product is weigh better than any other products (in my case)..

i still have the allergies all over me.. i'll visit the dermatologist again for my 2nd shot of anti inflammatory.. :( if only I can show you my picture with the rashes all over me, you’d be traumatized and never try the cream..lol

I guess it only proves that St. Dalfour cream is not for everybody. The problem with ST Dalfour is, it doesn't have the listed ingredients so we wouldn't know if there's an active ingredient that can trigger allergic reactions.

Unknown said...

i had it check with the dermatologist, it has titanium in it.. the cream doest have the list of ingredients but the soap does.. its not even recommended for pregnant women..

i just had my 2nd shot today.. still my face wanted to burst with pain and itch..

anyhow, good luck to those who wants to try the product.. if i had read this blog beforehand, i should have not tried st dalfour.. lol.. |:)

St Dalfour Whitening Cream is all-natural. It has been lab tested and proven to be completely safe. I have seen the lab results.

If used correctly the whitening cream will do what it claims.

Apply only a small amount and massage it into the skin until completely dissolved. Doing this will ensure that the whitening cream is getting to the bacteria in the pores and eliminating the toxins.

If you apply too much and only leave it on the surface of the skin, then it will try to draw out the toxins to the surface of the skin, possibly causing irritation.

The cream from the original maker is available here: http://www.stdalfourbeauty.net/

The main ingredients are listed in the product description on the website. The "original" version of the whitening cream is steamed to fully fit as much cream as possible in the bottle and giving it a nice even appearance when one opens the bottle. You may need to work a little harder to massage this cream into the skin.

The "creamy" version will have some natural oil separation when overheated, so keep this one in the fridge if you notice this. This one will penetrate the skin easier and dissolve better, but there is more air in the cream and it is not packed in the bottle tightly. So there will be less applications.

This whitening cream is still in its infancy stages, so they are still using the overstock jars from the jam company, but they are not recycled jars. These jars are actually very good for the cream as they are made of glass and there is chemical transfer as in plastic containers.

The specific ingredients are not listed, but the main ingredients have been discovered and are listed on the website. The makers do not want private label generic versions of the product in the marketplace. So, this explains the ambiguity of the ingredients.

hi please can you tell me wich mall?? that have a st.dalfour france. whitening cream, from kuwait.
does glorietta? or rustan?? mall of asia?? have a st.dalfour . please help.. thanks..

Andrea Lauro said...

St Dalfour cream is pure steroids/hormones and maybe some of Vitamin b3 at over 5%. The immediate whitening and smoothening of the skin is due to the steroids. It does remove melasma because its a hormonal phenomena. Thats why pregnant women should avoid it.
To those that claim to test it- I seriously doubt the claim. Im a personal care formulator and a biochemist. Just reading the testimonials would tell you its too creepy.Nothing whitens the skin that fast if you know the actual mechanism of skin color at the cellular level. Its hormones and steroids! I would stay away from this product and avoid it like the plague.
If they are so repuatble and safe- they would afford their own name and not rip-off jam bottles from France. I mean really.....

I used this product since Monday, so, not even a week ago...I use it for my underarm. To my surprise, i don't have allergic reaction on the left underarm. My right underarm has adverse reaction. It is very red and itchy. I stopped using it to my right underarm and still continues with the left. After 3 days, i can see a huge difference. My left underarm is soooo much lighten. i don't know what to do with the right now. It's not even to have a light left underarm and darker right underarm..lol!

^ I agree.. Very well said Miss Andrea :)

Anyone who has the bottles can put whatever they feel like putting in the bottles. Make sure your seller has imported the cream from Kuwait. Cream made anywhere else does not have the original formulation because the original formulation can only be found and made in the middle east region.

With the case of the bottles of cream coming from Japan or Taiwan, that is a red flag right there. Because they do not have access to the original formula, which can only be acquired in the middle east.

I think the product is ok. Not all products are effective on everybody because each of us have a unique way of reacting to a certain type of skin care product. Just like me, i have tried using different creams both expensive creams. i have also tried olay natural white but i have observed that it was much better for me not to have used the product because after i used the product about 3 times i observed that i have a slight sunburn even without sun exposure so i stopped using the product. same with ponds, i used the toner the one that claims that protects from UVA/UVB, i had the same reaction...slight sunburn even without exposure to the sun- red skin, not that red. the reaction was just like after sunburn.
With St dalfour i didnt have that problem, all i can say is that, it suits me and its wonderful. i dont use the product religiously but the st dalfour soap i use it everytime i bath. i dont aim to have a fair skin just a smooth skin, that's it. the product is wonderful.

I have been using the product for 4 months now..continously i should say..fortunately no allergic reaction at all..contrary to the negative effect some of the comments I read here..to be honest I was hesitant to use it initially but was convinced when I saw my friend..her face, neck and underarm are remarkably fairer than before..I tried it on my underarm coz I was still scared and was satisfied with the result so now I am using it on my face and most of my friends notice the changes..got my St Dalfour directly from Kuwait..Id rather pay more for the shipping rather than risk from the cheap but fake products..:-)

This product is bad it has 15% of Mercury in it. I was use this cream for 3 month and I almost ran out of my last jar so I stop using it and about 2 week later I start to have a dark spot on my face so I take jar to my Doctor for test and a week later my Doctor call me and told me that the cream that I have been use had 15% Mercury in it.. I should stop using it if I don't stop it will take away my health... If Anyone out there use this produt you should think about your health first! Go to this website and read.

I agree with Joyce. Not all beauty products works well with everyone. Just in my case, the first time I used ponds made my first really red like cherries. That’s why I’m not into ponds (yeeKs!). But when I used dalfour, since my sister is a direct dealer from Kuwait, it made my face blemish free. People surrounds me notice the big difference in my face. I’m so glad to have dalfour as my beauty confidant. 
Ps. Just make sure that what you buy is the original dalfour from Kuwait.

A laboratory test report posted on the stdalfourbeauty.net site showed that the manufacturer had a bottle of the product tested for the presence of a few harmful chemicals. I'm not sure this lab test gives consumers any assurance that it is free of other harmful substances not tested for, such as mercury or steroids as what some posters claim the cream contains. Maybe if samples of the original product are test by the BFAD, that would settle all questions about the product's safety.

I should of researched more information about this "product" before purchasing it from ebay. I heard about this product through a friend who bought hers frome ebay. She said that her skin got lighter. My skin is different colors and have a lot of acne scarring. I went ahead and purhcased mine on ebay too. When I received my a day ago, I compared the ones I bought with hers and they were completley different. After reading all the reviews and thoughts about this product I'm scared to use it now. I will not buy this "product" again.

Hey everyone! :) I used st dalfour cream for like 2 months. It really had this very amazing effect! But after i stopped using from it, the bad effects came out. And lately, i had this moderate pimples on my face. I read reviews w/c said that st dalfour cream contains a high mercury and not a BFAD approved so that's why i stop using. And i talked to a friend that the most cases arises in most derm clinics was because of st. dalfour. I didnt scare everyone out bout this. Am just sharing what i experienced. Hope this helps :D

I came across this site, http://fabrichild.multiply.com/journal/item/169/BEWARE_ATTENTION_ALL_ST._DALFOUR_CREAM_USERS_ and was really shocked to have read the last part. It stated that FDA banned 5 products containing mercury and St. Dalfour is one of them.

Ive been using st.dalfour for 3 months now, and it really made a difference. My face glowed, it became whiter and smoother..I also received lots of complements about my face..and it really made me feel great..This is just a tip I learned from an experience, a month ago I bought st. dalfour cream from a different supplier and used it for half a month, why half a moth? because the dalfour i bought was actually fake and from that i was able to differentiate the original from the fake one. you can tell if its fake if the packaging is not full, if the smell is not so distinct and strong, and the consistency is not so rough..the original one is almost close to being a mud which made it more effective. I've tried a lot of beauty products before since I am really vain but nothing gave me the satisfaction st. dalfour offered, and I am just so happy with it.

This does not sound legit. Guys, if you have the money to spend 1k + on a single bottle which is not even consistent in terms of outcome, then I suggest you just go get a good derma. Come on, people. Really. Stop experimenting on your darn face.

My mom used it for a while, but she stopped using it because it made her black heads worst. I believe it clogged her pores. I've only used it for about 8 times, and have seen that my face is more bright, but I wanted to know the ingredients before I continue using it on my face. I did not see any ingredients listed on it and so I looked it up online and came across this website. After hearing what everyone is saying about it, I'm afraid to use it now. I'm not going to use it until I find out more information on it.

for those that have allergic reaction upon using st. dalfour cream, i suggest not to use it on daytime. the allergic reaction is triggered by the sunlight or even the environment. Better use it at night. You can use it on daytime but you should not expose your skin on the sunlight or you should be in a cold place. So you have a choice. Try my suggestion and please tell me the result.

I’ve been using St Dalfour Cream for almost 2 years now and it’s results are just incomparably amazing than with all the other beauty products out there I’ve tried. I’ve tried almost all products you can think of (Ponds, NIVEA, Garnier, Olay, etc.) and none of those really worked for me. St Dalfour Cream hasn’t just whitened my skin, it made it more soft & look much younger. I used to have severe pimples (and I really mean “severe” here) when I was in college; from my face, neck and even at my back. And of course those left scars and blemishes. After I used the product the scars disappeared including the little lines at the corner my eyes. People at work calls me mestiza, and that I credit to St Dalfour. It has worked remarkably for me. I have recommended it to my friends and it has worked the same for them. One just have to make sure what they’re buying isn’t fake so it works the way it should, and the same goes to all products not just Dalfour. I am not trying to advertise the product coz I have nothing to gain from it, I am simply sharing my experience. Results would I guess vary on skin type, self discipline and on the authenticity of the products we use. For as long as what you have isn’t fake then it should work.

i have recently bought a bottle of cream dalfour in southern philippines. actually, i got to know this cream from a friend of mine. she used to have pekas on her face but when she used this cream, her face cleared up.. i couldnt believe it, so i asked her and she recommended me this cream. that time, i used to have too much pimples on my face.. when i saw the bottle, i was a bit skeptical about it, because the contents are not listed and so is the manufacturer.

i have just been using for 2 weeks and my pimples cleared up.

but come to think of it, we are also users of other products that doesnt have proper listing. like for example other well known products are not even bfad approved yet, we still use it... i wonder why this cream is such a big deal.. hmmm.. but the product does really works!

i was using dalfour for my pimples only, its good but my suggestions will be, if you have the desired result, dont use it regularly, use it twice a week or once a week because continuous and frequent use of this product will soon makes your skin thinner and easy to be burn under the sun. some of the users also have anemia after using the product for a long time, you will have dependency also for this product.better after the desired result, use it twice a week or once a week and use moisturizer like olay. i was working in kuwait and many people using that but most of them stop also due to unknown component.

I'm a user and a reseller of this product. I can tell the difference between a fake and a genuine one. The authentic will really make you happy. It whitens skin and erases pigmentation. It even erased my boyfriend's burn scar on his arm in just a week. On the other hand, the fake smells weird. Imagine a chocolate drink mixed with this chinese product called chin-chan-su? Did I spell it right? Anyway, it also gave me the itch. It's not that oily compared to the authentic one. You can also tell by the gold seal and the prints; from the logo, to the quality of the gold sticker (the fake one uses an almost foil like sticker while the authentic one looks classier), to the font and cap (it just looks cheap made). I was just fooled by one seller on sulit.com.ph. Unlucky for me. I'm still using the product though but I already compromised myself to my first supplier.

And can you tell is this cream good for oily skin??
Since I couldn't find any where about this!!

I haven't tried this product yet but I am already planning to.

As for any skin product, like astringent, et cetera, we all know from the Maxipeel days that you are not supposed to expose your skin during treatment to sun. The creams have different variants, and they also have sunblock, for those who are working during daytime, I guess.

I have been looking and looking at this online store. The seller responds to SMS quickly too! Here's the link for those of you who may wonder about this product.

FYI:
I am only a contact in Facebook, I haven't tried any of the products yet. I will order within the week, though :) HTH :)

My daughter-in-law who came from Kuwait looks so good, she has a
glowing pinkish White skin, and she said she’s using St. Dalfour.
She said that there’s no fake St. Dalfour
Only, it takes sometimes for the others to be effective, maybe for lacking in ingredients.
She used to buy it in a store in Kuwait and even watched the Filipina seller in mixing all the ingredients, she said that the
ingredients came from the hospital. I’d been using it for 2 weeks now , so far it’s okay. It takes 2 months daw to really see the real whitening effect, after that maintenance na. Ung mga kasamahan nya di napagtiyagaan, siya lang nagtiyaga at un nga na amazed sila pumuti nga siya at di lang basta maputi pinkish talaga, it glows.

hi... i have tried this product. it is very nice at first. makes your skin whiter, smoother, and looks healthier. but once you stopped using it, the hell begins. you will have breakouts and dry skin. i even consulted the derma how to make breakouts and pimples go away..
